About

My name is Colin Palmer. I’m a software engineer focused on Applied and Systems AI/ML. I currently work at Booz Allen Hamilton as part of their internal technology team, developing AI solutions that can be used across the firm.

Previously, I worked as a development scientist at a biotech/medical device company, building clinical reagents critical for diagnosing sick patients.

I recently listened to a talk from Tyler Cowen where he described two potential job categories in the age of AI:

  1. Running experiments
  2. Gathering data

I hope Cowen is right, because I enjoy both. So this site is a public portfolio of whatever I think is worth sharing — experiments, data, projects, and the occasional post.

After a few years on the East Coast in Washington, DC, I’m looking to return home. I’m actively seeking AI/ML roles in Southern California. LA and Orange County are my first choice, but I’m open to San Diego or the Bay Area if the fit is right.
